Insider from Afghan participant

What for did you come here, Nasria?
- I applied at my university in Kabul, where I am studying Bachelors in business administration with focus on finances. I think the NATO mission is a learning process, and it is important to share ideas here. I feel like representing a whole country, it's a huge responsibility.

How do you - people in Afghanistan - perceive the NATO mission?

- Most of them have a mixed relation: on one hand, NATO has already achieved important steps in establishing security. People get to know about this via TV. On the other hand, of

course bomb attacks with civilian victims is a hot issue. It happened that a couple had been attacked during their wedding. So there is always the concern: If they attack them, they can also attack us.

And your personal opinion?

- It will take time, but I think that NATO is on the right way.

What about the future?

- Apart from security, education is also an important point. I am lucky to have parents who are very supportive to me. You need this support to feel confident, otherwise you are shy and introvert. But on conferences like this, you need to raise your voice.
