Shaping Europe with radio
Shaping Europe is possible just by hearing voices on the radio! This is the aim of the radio workshops at the EYMD.
Beginning with the workshop "Lost in translation", Anna describes it as "a radio feature about the work and the role of interpreters here at the European institutions" but also, "an insight into radio production and a team work beyond various cultures and languages". The participants have to interview people from different countries. "So, we will try not to get lost in translation!”, Anna says with a smile.
When we visited the workshop "Listen to the scoop", Francesco told us they are "making a selection of news from every country, about the most important and controversial European topics".
And finally, since radio is not just the sounds of voices, but also music, they are also creating "European Earfood". The participants, as they said, are "interested in analysing various European cultures, from the point of view of lifestyles", and will pay particular attention to music.
