3 minutes of happiness
Have you ever felt that just before several minutes you had the best interview in your life?
Well it just happened to me. One of the most important interviews in my short existence will only be remembered by me and my interviewee. The journalist and author from Jeruzalem, Ari Rath, gave me two important lectures. Actually I was not planning just to educate myself, but also to get some important information from the experienced wolf of journalism. But everything turned in a way that I could never have expected. The first and the most important thing that I will remember from Ari Rath lips though is that journalists have to be like computers: hardware can not work without software.
So I can say, that after this interwiev I dear to face the statement that my personal computer has just software without any signs of actual hardware. Actually I realised this when I, full of happiness, climbed to announce to everyone about my success and after a while it sadly became obvious that my recorder didn´t contain any information from the interview.
Second lesson that I had to learn: press all necessary buttons three times and do not hesitate to do it five times. Just make sure that you are provided with all everything to make your interview the best.
